What Do We Need?

We will need a minimum of 15 photos of your car. We would prefer about 50 photos. Try to get about 8 - 10 of the outside, 2 - 4 of the glass, 2 - 4 of the roof, trunk and hood, 8 - 10 of the inside, 8 - 10 of under the hood, 2 - 4 of the trunk, and 8 - 10 under the car. If you have a digital camera capable of taking MPEG's, take several videos of the car. One driving past the camera, one starting, one of the engine running, and one of any special features that would distinguish your car.

If you are in the greater San Antonio area, Dad will have his staff take them for you.

You will need to provide Dad with a copy or photo of your title. Please insure you show both the front and the back. Dad needs this to insure you vehicle is titled in your name and is lien free.

Dad needs to know the lowest dollar amount you will accept for your vehicle. Make sure this number is the net amount you would wish to make from the sale of your vehicle. This is known as a "Reserve Price". If you are unsure, Dad can help you determine an average market price you might expect for the sale of your vehicle. Dad will then add 5% commission to determine your auctions reserve price. This insures the Buyer pays the fees not the Seller.

A listing fee of $75.00 will be need to be paid initially by you, the seller. This fee covers the cost of listing you vehicle on eBay. Your car will receive several upgrades on eBay such as "Bold", "Highlighted", "Outlined" and "Featured Listing". This will need to be a Check or Money Order made payable to Dad's Classic Cars. Or, you can use your MasterCard and Visa using our 128 bit secure server.
